Congratulations to the Cherokee County School District middle school basketball regular season and tournament champions! The season culminated with tournaments, and celebrations of regular season and tournament champions and runner-up teams.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2025 Cherokee County School District Reading Bowl! The annual event for students in grades 4-12 is a timed competition to encourage reading, develop reading comprehension skills, and offer a fun extra-curricular academic opportunity.  

State School Superintendent Richard Woods visited Little River Elementary School on Monday to present special banners to 15 CCSD schools recognized for outstanding achievement in literacy or math on the 2024 Georgia Milestones tests.
