E.T. Booth History
E.T. Booth has rich, deep roots embedded in the Woodstock/Acworth community. The Etowah Zone is located in the northwest suburbs of Atlanta situated on what is commonly referred to in the area as "Eagle Mountain". Booth, built in 1980, was named after a former, influential educator and superintendent of Cherokee County School District (CCSD), Eugene Theodore Booth. After serving grades seven and eight for 32 years, and looking to meet the needs of the ever growing and changing community, CCSD opened a state of the art, technologically-advanced facility in the fall of 2013 for grades sixth, seventh, and eighth.
