CCSD Students Win at State Technology Competition

Seven Cherokee County School District students earned honors at the Georgia Student Technology Competition!  CCSD students earned the opportunity to compete in this month’s statewide event by winning first place at regional competition.  The annual contest invites students in grades 3-12 to create projects in a range of real-world technology industry categories such as animation, multimedia applications, and 3D modeling.  Congratulations to the honorees and their teachers!  Our School Board is laser focused on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else!  

FIRST-PLACE STATE WINNERS

SECOND-PLACE STATE WINNERS
Hoyt Estapa and Conner Harrison, Woodstock MS, Grades 5-6, Audio Production
Rishabh Pandya, E.T. Booth MS, Grades 7-8, Graphic Design

THIRD-PLACE STATE WINNER
Rohan Pandya, Etowah HS, Grades 11-12, 3D Modeling

These students will be recognized by the Cherokee County School Board and Superintendent of Schools at an upcoming School Board meeting.
